Fame: What is it really?
November 29th, 2006 by c4d1ll4c
You always here that people like former presidents catch serious diseases or relocate to another part of the country, but truly who really cares? Other then George Washington and a few others, presidents just go down the history books. People in our generations would rather hear about Angelina Jolie getting a haircut or Peyton Manning throwing for 500 yards in a game than things like governors getting elected. I must admit, I’d much rather be looking at a picture of Angelina Jolie than reading a long, pointless(to me) article about politics. There are two forms of fame, one is that everyone knows you, and the other is that people actually care about what you do. When you think of the white house, you think of Bush not Cheney, when you think of looney tunes, Bugs Bunny over Daffy Duck, Peyton Manning over Marvin Harrison and so on. Is it really that important to be famous or the person everyone wanted to be if you’ll be forgotten in the next decade?
