Have you ever had a friend…
September 26th, 2006 by c4d1ll4c
Have you ever had a friend…
who shows you where to go
have you ever had a friend…
who pulls you out of the snow
have you ever had a friend…
who never looks down on you
have you ever had a friend…
who can relate to what you do
have you ever had a friend…
that is always there
have you ever had a friend…
who relieves you of your fear
Well its good to have that friend… Believe me

LacrosseStar’sLacrossestar’s story about an Indian adventure was an interesting thing to read, it takes you to a different perspective, in this case a Native American’s perspective. We in a modern world would not think like indians, and it’s exceptional how well lacrossestar has written this. There is a lot of emotion yet it is easy to understand. Kudos to you Lacrosse :).

Award Ceremony 2012
September 20th, 2006 by c4d1ll4c
Winning the 400 Individual Medley was one of the biggest things in my life but the award ceremony is even more important, I mean whats the point of the Olympics without medals. I stand on the podium with my fellow competitors, the sight is incredible, thousands of people are in front of me cheering, then the announcer starts talking, he walks over and awards me my medal, the shiny gold attracts my eyes, its the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. This is truly the greatest moment of my life, next the Canadian national anthem starts playing, a woman in a high voice starts singingĀ “Oh Canada,” now I know that all of my hard work has payed off. Once I get to my hotel, my parents and friends massacred the hotel phone with calls to congratulate me, my day is almost over, I decide to go to sleep, it’s probably the most peaceful night ever.

Olympics 2012
September 12th, 2006 by c4d1ll4c
Finally, at last I am here at the Olympics, its been hard work but Im finally here. I am just about to compete in the 400 meter Individual Medley, it’s going to be the event of my life, my veins are pumping blood faster and faster, I can feel myself getting handed a medal. I get on the block and relax my arms out, I know that I’ll have to get a lead on the fly leg if I want a shot at gold. I hear the official call out “Take ur mark,” shortly he fires his gun, I leap out forward and start dolphin kicking like crazy, I am in second after the butterfly leg, I have a turn into backstroke, I am in third place after that leg, then it’s my favorite and most dominant stroke, the breast. I lunge my body forward, I accidently swallow the water, it tastes bitter but somewhat pushes me to win the race, I get a lead after the breaststroke leg, now it’s what matters most, the freestyle, I rotate my arms and legs faster than ever before, I start to lose energy but I know I just have to hold it for a matter of seconds more, I see the wall. It all comes down to this, I reach forward with what energy is left inside me, I’ve done it, I got the gold by two miliseconds. My body is weak and I feel as I am about to faint, once I step out of the pool I hear the people in the bleachers screaming, this is the happiest moment of my life.
